For more than half a century, the Lock House Museum has helped bring the magic of the holiday season to Havre de Grace through its beloved Candlelight Tour—a tradition that has become an important part of the city’s holiday celebrations and a significant fundraiser for the museum.
The Candlelight Tour began to showcase the historic character, architecture, and community spirit of Havre de Grace during the holiday season. Each December, residents and visitors are invited to step inside beautifully decorated historic homes and other special locations throughout the city. Over the years, the Candlelight Tour has grown into the Lock House Museum’s most anticipated annual event.
